Colton Curtis is a multidisciplinary creative artist.
He is an accomplished actor, model, and photographer. Colton began performing at an early age in Canada’s east coast. Upon graduation from high school he moved to Ontario, to attend the prestigious Bachelor of Musical Theatre program at Sheridan College, where he received the Brian Linehan triple threat award for each year he attended. Between his years at college, Colton spent summers working for The Charlottetown Festival, the Florence Ballet Company in Florence, Italy, and performing with the Finger Lakes Music Theatre Festival, in New York.
Colton was fortunate enough to graduate with honours, earlier than anticipated, in order to begin working at one of North America's greatest repertory theatre companies, The Shaw Festival. The following year he debuted at the critically acclaimed Stratford Festival, starring as Mark Anthony in A Chorus Line. Colton then had the privilege of continuing his work at the Stratford Festival for five seasons in shows such as Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, The Rocky Horror Show, and Billy Elliot: The Musical, where he played Older Billy. Most recently Colton originated the role of Bosie Douglas in Gregory Prest’s adaptation of De Profundis, by Oscar Wilde, produced by Soulpepper, in Toronto.
In addition to his theatre career, Colton began a photography business in 2020 with much success. In the same year he began his work as an emerging director and choreographer. His work can be seen in music videos for recording artists Dayna Manning, and Alicia Toner, and on stages in Charlottetown.
Colton is represented by one of Canada’s most prestigious modelling agencies: Sutherland Models, and can be seen in campaigns across the country for brands such as Roots, TD, McDonalds, Starbucks, DUER, Tilley, Sleep Country, and Shoppers Drugmart.
